AQA

Overview

We deliver a 5-year curriculum model. In the first two years, we follow the AQA KS3 syllabus which underpins the knowledge and skills required to access content specified in the AQA 9-1 GCSE courses.  We use Year 9 as a bridging year between KS3 and GCSE, providing stretch and familiarity to the GCSE-style assessments. Towards the end of Year 9 students opt to study either AQA Science Combined Trilogy 9-1 GCSE or AQA Biology, Chemistry and Physics 9-1 GCSE courses in Years 10 & 11.
